About me

Seebal Aboudounya has spent most of her life in London. She was born in Australia and has lived in Russia and Namibia while accompanying her father during his diplomatic postings.

Seebal Aboudounya was ranked the Top student and awarded the prize of Best Overall Performance of the Year for all three years in BA (Hons) International Politics at King’s College London (KCL). She graduated from KCL with First Class Honours. Seebal completed her master’s degree at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS, University of London) with Distinction. She was awarded the prize of Best Student Profile for MA International Studies and Diplomacy and also the prize for Best Dissertation. She is currently a PhD student at the LSE.

Research topic

Deliberation in International Organisations, with an empirical focus on the International Maritime Organisation (IMO).
