Claire Charters

CharterscroppedClaire is currently working on her book manuscript contracted to Cambridge University Press on the Legitimacy of Indigenous Peoples' Rights under International Law as well as an article examining how New Zealand courts, the Executive and the Waitangi Tribunal negotiate tensions between human rights and Indigenous peoples' rights.  Claire also continues her work as an advisor to the President of the United Nations General Assembly on ways and means to enhance Indigenous peoples' participation in the United Nations.
