In an age of extremes, of crisis and despair, there is an opportunity to chart a profoundly new course, anchored in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Agreement of 2015, and reinforced by COP26 in Glasgow in November 2021.

The challenge is to recover and rebuild from global shocks in a way that creates sustained growth and transforms our economies, tackling the social and ecological stresses and imbalances of the current economic model.

This white paper outlines an action agenda focused on a big push in investment, innovation and financing. Multilateralism remains key to unlocking the response for a new financial, societal and economic architecture.
