Thesis
'Reason and Politics in Kant: Can Practical Reason be Political?'
My research focuses on the connection between Kant’s conception of Reason and its bearing on the problem of politics. My approach, on the one side, formulates questions on the systematicity of Kant’s political and ethical writings and, on the other side, addresses a number of problems derived from his commitments to a particular conception of practical reason. The broader context of my research include the history of political thought (ancient and modern) and also issues of political morality and modernity going beyond Kant.
