Mona Morgan-Collins is LSE Fellow in Government at the London School of Economics. She is currently finishing her doctoral degree at the Department of Government, LSE. She holds an MRes degree in Political Science from LSE.
Mona Morgan-Collins’s main research interests are in historical democratization and electoral politics. Methodologically, she has an interest in causal inference and applies natural experiments in her research. Her current research focuses on the effects of suffrage on political outcomes in the US, Western Europe and in Latin America. Alongside her main work, she also collaborates on a project, which analyses a large data set of CVs of politicians in newly democratized countries.
