Biography
Sebastian Koehler is a post-doctoral fellow at the department of government. He studied Political Science and Economics at the University of Mannheim, Germany. He holds a doctoral degree from the University of Mannheim, where he was a doctoral student at the interdisciplinary Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences.
Research Interests
The research interests of Dr. Koehler are in the area of international and comparative political economy. In particular he is interested in the study of formal models of political decision-making and lobbying. His current research focuses on interest group access to political decision-makers and on the role which interest groups play in legislative bargaining. He puts a strong emphasis on combining theoretical and empirical models in his research.
