The LSE Migration Studies Unit workshop on comparative migration research is now scheduled for the afternoon of Thursday, 10 June 2010.
The meeting will take place in the context of the IMPALA project, an international research collaboration between LSE and the universities of Harvard, Sydney, Amsterdam and Luxembourg which seeks to develop a cross-national database on immigration laws and policies.
The workshop will bring together a group of experts who share an interest in comparative migration research and migration data. The aim of the meeting is to identify data needs, discuss ongoing data projects and exchanges views on methodological challenges and new research opportunities in the field of comparative migration research.
