About me

Thesis: Macro-level triggers of electoral behaviour in the United Kingdom

My thesis looks at factors which drive voting behaviour within and across various sectors of the British electorate. My research is motivated by an interest in understanding (1) what are the electoral costs of unpopular economic policies, (2) how do British politics change when the composition of the electorate changes and (3) what are the causes and consequences of political disengagement in the United Kingdom.

Supervisors: Michael Bruter and Thomas Leeper
