About me

I am an economist currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Government at the LSE. My research examines the role of individual economic circumstances in shaping political preferences, and conversely, how individuals’ ideological beliefs shape their economic behaviour. Recently, I’ve been working on topics such as the selection of politicians and the labour market basis of opposition to immigration.

I hold a BA, MSc and PhD in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MA from New York University.
