Climate Change

Dr Robert Falkner's current research on international climate policy involves three projects:
Building on his paper on the 'building blocks' approach in international climate policy (co-authored with Hannes Stephan and John Vogler and published in Global Policy in October 2010), Robert is currently working on a follow-up paper that will examine different theoretical conceptions of climate governance.
He is also developing a Handbook of Global Climate and Environment Policy, which will bring together state of the art reviews of research by renowned experts from around the world. This is expected to be published in 2012.
Furthermore, as part of the LSE's CCCEP, he is engaged in a collaborative project with colleagues from Leeds University, which focuses on the role of nonstate actors in global climate governance.
