About
Ted Pinchbeck is a Fellow in Real Estate Economics & Finance at the Department of Geography and Environment at LSE, and a Research Officer at the Spatial Economics Research Centre (SERC) and Centre for Economic Performance (CEP). He holds a PhD in Economic Geography and an MSc in Real Estate Economics and Finance from LSE, as well as an MSc in Economics from Warwick University.
Before joining LSE Ted worked as an economist at Monitor, the NHS healthcare regulator, the Department of Health and the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills. His research interests focus on urban economics, health economics, and the economics and finance of real estate markets. His current research projects include revealing discount rates in housing markets, the environmental impacts of land-use regulation, and the evaluation of NHS healthcare policies using spatial research designs.
