Katherine (Katerina) Kimmorley

PhD candidate in Environmental Economics

Katerina has a Bachelor of Commerce (Liberal Studies) from the University of Sydney. She also has an MSc (Distinction) from the London School of Economics in Environmental Economics and Climate Change. Prior to PhD research, she worked as a Renewable Energy Policy Advisor for the New South Wales government and co-founded Pollinate Energy, a social business providing sustainable energy products in India's urban slums.

Katerina’s PhD is examining the impact of provision of sustainable energy products in India's urban slums on wellbeing and the environment and willingness to pay for these products. She is the recipient of an LSE PhD scholarship.
