Dirk-Jan van de Ven

PhD candidate in Environmental Economics


After completing a Master’s degree in Resource, Growth & Development Economics at Tilburg University (Netherlands), Dirk-Jan started working as a Research Assistant at the Basque Center for Climate Change in Bilbao (Spain).

Building upon his Master's thesis on the relevance of long-term energy prices and efficiency for economic growth, he continued to explore this topic by assisting Roger Fouquet| with his research.
