PhD candidate in Economic Geography
Andrea holds an MSc in Local Economic Development (with Distinction) from the LSE, a MSc in Development Studies (with honours) and a BA in Development Economics (with honours), both from University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’. Prior to PhD research, he was programme officer at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Herat City, Afghanistan. He also worked as consultant at the OECD and intern at the Permanent Mission of Italy to the UN in Geneva.
Andrea's PhD is on the location behaviour and impact on host regions of Multinational Enterprises’ operations. His research is funded by ESRC and is also supported by EU FP7 SEARCH project
