PhD candidate in Economic Geography
Alessandra holds an MSc and a BSc in Economics of International Markets and New Technologies, both from Bocconi University. Prior to PhD research, she was a research assistant in the Department of Economics at the University of Turin and a consultant at the OECD in the Public Governance and Territorial Development Division.
Alessandra’s PhD is on the determinants and impact of University-Industry knowledge linkages, with a focus on firms’ innovative activities (e.g. patents). Her research interests include:
