The Barker review and London 14 February 2006

LSE London Development Workshop's third event looked at The Barker Review and London. The core topics discussed were first how the Barker agenda is working for London and second how London and particularly London government can respond to ensure more market and affordable housing is made available.

Kate Barker presented her views on progress in achieving her agenda; followed by Christine Whitehead on the challenges for London. Neale Coleman then spoke about the ways in which changes in London's governance can support housing objectives more effectively and David Orr  talked specifically about affordable housing.
