Derek Diamond (Previous Course Director)
March 2007 saw me accompanying the 2006-7 cohort to Istanbul as Andy Thornley was unable to go. This was a good experience after 11 years of retirement even though I was invited to give a talk in one of the Universities.
I still meet past students on the City of London walk I do at the reunions held at LSE, as well as with each new cohort of MSc RUPS.
Michael Hebbert (Previous Course Director) visited the department in 2007 as an examiner for one of the PhD students. He is still at the University of Manchester and is getting more involved in urban Design issues.
Yvonne Rydin has left the LSE to go to university College London but is very kindly continuing to teach her sustainable cities course on RUPS until 2008.
Yiannis Kaplanis (Teacher of Research Methods) has joined part of the London Mayor's empire with a job at GLA (Economics).
