The World Economic Forum has invited Professor Andrés Rodríguez-Pose to become one of the members of the Global Agenda Council on the Economics of Innovation.
The aim of this Council is to put in place clear and realistic plans that will allow regions, countries and cities which lack the environment needed to encourage innovation to boost their innovative capacities. The Council is meeting in Dubai in November in order to prepare the proposals that will feed into the agenda of the World Economic Forum’s summit in Davos in early 2015.
With this appointment, Andrés Rodríguez-Pose continues his work in shaping global agendas that he already developed as previous member of the Global Agenda Council on Employment.
