Geography & Environment academics recognised at Teaching Excellence Awards 2016

Department of Geography and Environment academics have won several prizes at the LSESU Teaching Excellence Awards 2016

The awards are voted for by students and this year a record-breaking 1,370 nominations were submitted.

Our winners

Austin Zeiderman is recognised for his contribution to teaching through receiving the LSESU Teaching Excellence Award in Sharing Subject Knowledge. 

Neil Lee is 'Highly Commended' for his contribution to Mentoring, and Sefi Roth is 'Highly Commended' for Research. 

Christian Hilber and Riccardo Crescenzi both receive prizes on promotion to professor. 

Recipients of the Class Teaching Awards include Joel Gill, John Wilkie, Julius Andersson, Emanuele Campiglio and Alex Jaax.
