About me

Davide is a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow in our department, working on a project titled “How will work-from-home change the geography of workers, firms and innovation?”. In this project, he studies the role of the recent work-from-home revolution in shaping agglomeration forces and knowledge creation by adopting a regional, firm-level and case-study perspective.

His research interests lie at the intersection of Economic Geography and International Economics, and in the past ten years, both in academic and policy-oriented institutions, he studied firms’ internationalisation strategies and their impact on regional development, and more recently the role of innovation and digitalisation in firms’ growth dynamics.

Prior to holding this position, Davide worked as a Fellow in Economic Geography in the Geography and Environment Department at LSE. He holds a PhD in International Economics from the Graduate Institute in Geneva and a MSc in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University. Davide also collaborated as a consultant with the OECD and UNCTAD in projects focused on global value chains, multinational enterprises and economic development.
