Dr. Aijun Wang is a visiting fellow in the GI from Jan. 2015 to Dec. 2015. She is a professor of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (in China). She got an economics PHD in Wuhan University (in China) and visited North Carolina State University (U .S.) as a visiting fellow in 2009-2010. Dr Wang has concentrated on gender inequality and women’s poverty for a long time, especially on the study of Chinese rural women’s poverty, migration and gender issues in the social and economic transformation.
