Corporate Governance at LSE
Corporate Governance at LSE is a research initiative launched by the Financial Markets Group at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Its mission is to conduct and encourage high quality research in governance, to facilitate debate between professionals and policy makers, and to promote the implementation of best practices. We see governance as a broad mechanism that helps firms to improve their performance, stability, and sustainability. In line with this, the initiative spans across the Finance, Law, Economics, Accounting and Management Departments at the LSE.
We are currently exploring three key themes through events and research: corporate boards, globalisation of ownership, and short termism.
