About FMG

The overall project will be coordinated by Professor David Webb of the Financial Markets Group at the London School of Economics and Political Science, while other members of the LSE node include, Professor Antoine Faure-Grimaud, Sridhar Arcot, Carsten Bienz, Professor Paul Davies, Professor Mark Schankerman,  Professor Javier Suarez and Gerard Llobet.

The Financial Markets Group, at LSE is one of the leading centres in the world for academic research into financial markets. The Group is led by Professor David Webb. Its links to the user community, in particular investment banks, commercial banks and regulatory bodies are strong. The FMG has maintained support from a large number of City institutions, both private and public, from the date of its launch over thirteen years ago.  The FMG fulfils an important function in the academic world and is at the interface of academia and practice.
