About CFS

The CFS node will be composed of Uwe Walz (local project coordinator), Patrick Herbst,  Julia Hirsch, Ulf von Kalckreuth and Tereza Tykvova.

The Center for Financial Studies, established in 1967, is one of Germany's leading research centres in financial and monetary economics. CFS conducts research on financial markets, financial intermediaries and monetary economics, promotes the dialogue between academia and the financial community, and provides top grade qualification training and executive development. CFS, sponsored by more than 120 banks, insurance companies, businesses and public institutions, acts as a German partner in co-operation with international research institutions, particularly on issues relating to financial market set-ups as well as the role of banks and the stock exchange. The institute is also a "think tank" for dealing with current affairs especially in connection with the field of European monetary policy and questions of international financial relations.
