Why did you choose the Programme?
I chose this programme because it was one of the most challenging available. After finishing my undergraduate degree I also wasn't sure of what kind of job I wanted to apply for, do so studying both Finance and Economics rather than specialising in one of them was ideal.
What aspect did you gain from / enjoy most?
I gained a lot from the academic excellence of the progarmme and also the contact I had with several Professors who were very supportive and approachable. My favourite course was Financial Econometrics (FM437). I really enjoyed taking on this 10-month challenge with my fellow classmates. The class was really diverse, with students from many different cultures and backgrounds, but all with remarkable drive, talent and ambition.
Olivia was awarded an Emeritus Professors Prize for outstanding performance in the MSc. She then returned to Belgium to work as a Business Analyst for McKinsey & Co.
