Why did you choose the Programme?
I wanted to study something related to finance, but after a degree in pure mathematics my knowledge in the field was quite limited. I was attracted to the MSc Management and Regulation of Risk because its broad range of course options provided me with the flexibility to experience and 'get the flavour' of different disciplines ranging from law or management to quantitative finance.
What aspect did you gain from / enjoy most?
LSE as an institution was very engaging. It is full of opportunities to launch into a professional career in financial sector and in particular for the MSc Management and Regulation of Risk, to meet very senior people via its practitioner seminars. Take my case as an example; I had the chance to meet the boss, of the boss, of the boss, of my boss before I even started working at Deutsche Bank!
Juncal graduated from the Programme with a distinction, after which she joined Deutsche Bank as an Analyst in Credit Risk.
