Degree Programmes

LSE is one of the most diverse institutions in the world, with over 150 countries represented in its student body. This mix encourages a truly global and international approach to intellectual discovery and academic life which cannot be matched elsewhere.

With its seven Masters programmes, the European Institute has one of the broadest programmes on Europe in the world. Within each programme, students study a combination of core and optional courses, with around 75 taught courses to choose from.

The EI accepts applications to its doctoral programme| in the areas of its four research themes: Governance and Democracy in the European Union, European Society, Political Economy in Europe and Europe beyond the EU.
