Programme Structure

Students must take courses which total 4 'full' units.

This includes:

  • Two compulsory courses (equalling one full unit, called 'Paper 1')
  • Optional courses (to the value of two full units, called 'Paper 2' & 'Paper 3')
  • A dissertation (to the value of one full unit, called 'Paper 4') 

Additionally, all students must take EU410 Interdisciplinary Research Methods and Design and EU450 Engaging with Europe: Professional Skills, in preparation for the dissertation.

Below is a breakdown of the course option details. (H) is used to denote a 'half unit ' course. You will need two 'half unit' courses to make up a 'full unit'.
