Biography

Olaf Cramme is a former director of Policy Network. Previously, he was a lecturer in European politics at London Metropolitan University and worked as a parliamentary researcher at the House of Commons. Olaf has published widely on the future of the European Union and European social democracy, and is editor of Rescuing the European project: EU legitimacy, governance and security (Policy Network, 2009), and co-editor of Progressive Politics after the Crash (I.B. Tauris, 2013), After the Third Way (I.B. Tauris, 2012) and Social Justice in the Global Age (Polity Press, 2009).

Research Interests

His research interests include: The Politics of European Integration; EU Legitimacy and Democracy; European Political Economy; The ‘Idea of Europe’ in the 21st century.
