Pension Reform in Europe: shared problems, sharing solutions?

The Hellenic Observatory hosted an international conference on Pension Reform in Europe in the Shaw Library, LSE on Friday 5th December 2003. LSE Academics (Professors Nick Barr, Kevin Featherstone) were joined by specialists from across Europe: Prof Peter Abrahamson from the University of Copenhangen; Mr Giorgos Glynos (EU Commission); Prof Karl Hinrichs (University of Bremen); Prof Bruno Palier (Paris) and Prof Martin Rhodes (EUI, Florence); Dr Platon Tinios (Greece; as well as from the UK: (Prof Peter Taylor-Gooby, Kent; Dr Dimitris Papadimitriou, Manchester).
Some eighty guests attended and engaged in a lively discussion, comparing trends and agendas. The feedback received from all participants and attendants was very positive and supportive.
