Oxford Forum Co-ordinator: Roxana Baiasu

Roxana BaiasuRoxana joined the Department of Philosophy at the University of Leeds in 2009 as a Fixed-term Lecturer in the History of Philosophy. Before coming to Leeds, Roxana taught at Oxford, Sussex (as an Early Career Leverhulme Fellow), and Manchester. She is also an Associate Member of the Philosophy Faculty in Oxford. She is writing in the area of post-Kantian metaphysics in connection to her interests in the philosophy of space and time.

Research Interests:

  • European Philosophy: Wittgenstein, Phenomenology and Existentialism (especially Heidegger and Merleau-Ponty)
  • Epistemology (objectivity, points of view, embodiment)
  • Philosophy of Religion
  • Feminist Philosophy
