How can an individual do the most good in their lifetime? Should they work for a non-profit organization in Africa? Should they go into politics? Or should they go into the City, and try to earn as much as they can so that they can donate it to good causes? Philosopher and founder of the ethical career advisory service ‘80,000 hours’ William MacAskill will discuss questions of effective altruism and how to use one’s life to make the world a better place.
