LSEE is part of the LSE's European Institute, a Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence

As a research driven institution LSEE does not offer a degree programme or any courses of study. With its seven Masters programmes, however, the European Institute has one of the broadest programmes of study on Europe in the world. Many of the 75 courses at European Institute are taught and supervised by LSEE's six core academics and cover a wide range of subjects. Furthermore, LSEE academic staff are pleased to offer supervision and support for PhD students undertaking research of topics on Greece, Turkey and the South East European region. For further information please access the links below:

Joint PhD Symposium on South Eastern Europe

Though LSEE does not offer any taught courses, students currently working on their PhD research may be interested in attending the Joint PhD Symposium on South Eastern Europe.

This event is organised by three University of London partner institutions; The London School of Economics and Political Science, Goldsmiths College and the UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies. The Joint PhD Symposium on South Eastern Europe is due to be held every two years.
