Dr Maria Koinova is Associate Professor of Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick. Her research interests span international relations and comparative politics, and focus on how ethno-national diversity impacts on the political development of conflict and post-conflict societies.
Dr Koinova presented the findings of her latest book, “Ethnonationalist Conflict in Postcommunist States: Varieties of Governance in Bulgaria, Macedonia and Kosovo”, published in July 2013 by University of Pennsylvania Press.
