Assoc. Prof. Dr Kudret Özersay is the Chief Negotiator of the Turkish Cypriot Side in Cyprus Talks held under the auspices of the UN Secretary General.
He is Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science and International Relations of the Eastern Mediterranean University of Cyprus. He has previously held posts at the UN, OSCE, and Ankara University. The Turkish Cypriot Chief Negotiator, told London audience that they need to take Greek concerns into consideration if a peace deal is ever to be reached. “We must not create a new Bosnia in the Eastern Mediterranean”, said Dr Kudret Özersay.
