Biography
Pasquale Foresti is an LSE Fellow in European Political Economy at the European Institute.
He obtained an MA in Economics and Finance from the University of Naples “Federico II” and an MSc in Advanced Studies in Economics from the KU Leuven. In 2008 he completed his PhD at the University of Naples “Federico II” with a dissertation entitled “Essays on the Optimum Currency Areas Theory”.
He has been an adjunct lecturer (Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Theory of Financial Markets) at the University “Magna Graecia” of Catanzaro and teaching assistant in Political Economy at the University of Naples “Federico II”.
In 2011 he obtained a three-year post-doctoral scholarship from the European Commission on “The Monetary Policy of the ECB and the Level of Economic Integration in the EMU”. He was also a visiting researcher at Brunel University in 2012.
