MSc Econometrics and Mathematical Economics (EME)

It was during my undergraduate study of BSc Business Mathematics with Statistics at LSE that I found my interest in Economics. The MSc Econometrics and Mathematical Economics (EME) programme perfectly suits me and allows me to study various fields in Economics using a mathematical approach.

The experience of studying EME is positive and all the subjects are approached both theoretically and rigorously. Professors and staff are helpful in enhancing our learning experience and act in our interests. Besides academic benefits, some sayings from the lecturers are also interesting and inspiring. For example, Professor Alwyn Young once said “keep doing rather than evaluating yourself”.

A normal day during the term has one or two lectures or classes. I usually go to the gym or have a swim in the evening for relaxation. Time is flexible for us to do work and study subjects. Self-discipline and self-motivation play important roles in studying at LSE and are something I believe to be beneficial for life.
