The majority of contact with the School Administration will be via the Student Services Centre, where the Helpdesk answers queries; deals with financial issues; runs drop-in sessions; and sets up appointments to address particular issues.
The Careers Service is now involved in a new initiative to help students find work during their time at LSE as well as to assist them to develop their careers.
All students for whom English is not their first language should consider taking courses provided by the Language Centre to improve their English. There is a range of services to assist students with writing essays, preparing for exams etc.
Many students will be registered with the Health Centre and the service is also available for emergencies. They also provide counselling services, both group and individual.
