Teaching Briefing - Professor Gilat Levy
Gilat Levy attained her PhD at Princeton University in 1999, and has been a faculty member of the Department of Economics at LSE ever since.
Professor Levy’s research focuses on game theoretical models of political processes, group-decision making, and religious organizations. She has published papers in the American Economic Review, Econometrica, and the Quarterly Journal of Economics among others.
Professor Levy is currently the Deputy Head of Department for Teaching, and the Chair of its Teaching Committee.
Research Briefing - Dr Ethan Ilzetzki
Ethan Ilzetzki is a Lecturer at the Department of Economics, and an Associate at both the Centre for Economic Performance and the Centre for Macroeconomics at the LSE. He is also an affiliate of the CEPR. His research focuses on Macroeconomics, Fiscal Policy, and Political Economy.
Ethan holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion: Israel Institute of Technology, an M.A. in International Economics from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Maryland. He has held policy and research positions at the International Monetary Fund, the U.S. Department of Treasury, and the Millennium Challenge Corporation.
