Visiting Fellows and Visiting Senior FellowsLibrary

Visiting Fellow appointments are intended to help Departments, Institutes and Centres to invite staff who are either practitioners or academics in other institutions to conduct research, or be involved in other departmental/institute/centre activities. No salary is paid by the School for these appointments.

Visiting Fellows: This category is aimed at academics who are pre-Major Review, practitioners at a broadly comparable level in their profession and researchers in the early stages of their career.

Visiting Senior Fellows: includes academics who are of the Lecturer (post-Major Review equivalent), Senior Lecturer, or Reader level, and professionals at a broadly comparable level in their profession.

Please note the following

Unfortunately we are not able to provide you with an office, however Visiting Fellows and Visiting Senior Fellows are welcome to use our part-time teachers’ room, which has a computer and printer. You would have access to the LSE Library, with full borrowing rights and access to the computers and printers in the Library and elsewhere around the School.

  2.
