LSE New Academic Building facade
Department of Management

We produce world-class multi-disciplinary research on management issues and offer our students a deep insight into the functioning of the global business environment. We were formed in 2006 by uniting four management-related academic groups at the School into a single department. Our vision is to be the premier provider of management education and research in Europe and one of the best in the world.

Our uniquely sophisticated degree programmes combine the study of management with the School’s renowned social sciences perspective. We offer a wide range of management programmes for undergraduates, postgraduates, executives and senior executives serving a diverse international student body and global corporate recruiter.
