About

Tor has master's degrees in law and development from the University of Cambridge and a bachelor's degree and J.D. degree from Harvard University. He has worked on development issues at the United Nations in New York, human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, and international criminal law at the Special Court for Sierra Leone in the Hague. In 2009, he was a visiting fellow at the Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá and, in 2011, was law research clerk to Deputy Chief Justice Dikgang Moseneke of the South African Constitutional Court. He is Assistant Editor of the London Review of International Law.
