(Hons.) degree at NUJS, Kolkata before doing his LLM at LSE, getting a distinction and winning the Blackstone Chambers Prize for Best Performance in Public International Law. He has four years' work experience with Clifford Chance, London, first as a trainee and later as an associate in the firm's General Banking team. He was admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales (currently non-practising) in 2013, and as an Advocate by the Bar Council of West Bengal, India in 2009. He has also been a research associate under the Ministry of HRD Intellectual Property Rights Chair at NUJS, Kolkata, and a judicial clerk with Justice H.K. Sema of the Supreme Court of India. As a graduate
teaching assistant at LSE, Sroyon is currently teaching
"Introduction to the Legal System" (four class groups of 1st
year undergraduates). He is also a PhD Student
Representative and LLM Student Adviser, and the President of
the LSESU Beekeeping Society.
