International human rights law, with a special focus on economic, social and
cultural rights and issues of poverty, inequality and development. Current
research is focused on conflicts between international human rights law and
international economic law (trade and investment law) from a political theory
perspective. Interests also include critical legal theory, theories of justice
and social theory in relation to law and economics, in the context of human
