Newman, Rebecca (Ms) - Postgraduate Programmes Administrator

Rebecca is responsible for the administration of the MSc Law and Accounting and MSc Law, Anthropology and Society programmes. Rebecca also manages the LLM admissions process.

Urquhart, Gillian (Ms) - Service Delivery Manager PGT

Gillian oversees the Departmentís LLM and MSc programmes. She is responsible for implementing School policies and procedures relating to teaching programmes at department level and for coordinating Law teaching programme information for colleagues in the School. Gillian manages the Law Department Teaching Committee and manages teaching projects and reviews, such as the TLAC review. Gillian is the Department contact for new course and programme proposals.

Williams, Karen (Ms)  - LLM Administrator

Karen deals with all matters concerning currently registered LLM students.

Yarham, Rachel (Mrs) - Doctoral Programme and Research Administrator

Rachel manages the administration of the MPhil/PhD programme and is able to provide support and answer questions for both prospective and current students. Rachel also provides support to research administration, including seminar series and book launches and is the contact point for part-time teachers.

Barlow, Bradley (Mr) - Communications Officer

Bradley provides administrative support to the Department of Law's external relations activities Ė including its Public Lecture, Pro Bono, Mooting and Widening Participation programmes Ė and for increasing our alumni relations. He is also responsible for the development of the Departmentís communications objectives, including publicising our research and external relations activities, as well as promoting law programmes.

Grant, Alison (Ms) - Executive Officer

Alison provides support to the Departmentís management team (Head of Department, Deputy Head of Department, and Department Managers).

Coote, Lewina (Miss) - Finance Officer

The Finance Officer has key responsibility for the Law Department's budgets and financial record keeping and is the contact point for all finance queries. The Finance Officer also manages the departments ORA contracts.

Lee's role is to manage and develop the department's web site, and promote effective use of online resources.

Tinnams, Amanda (Miss) - Estates Officer, Short Course & MLR Administrator

Mandy co-ordinates the Departmental day to day provision of matters relating to Health and Safety, as well as ensuring that the physical facility of the Department is maintained appropriately and functions effectively for staff and students. Mandy also manages the Modern Law Review, LLM Specialist Seminars, EBRD Conference, and the Short Course on Financial Services and Markets Regulation.

Zlatanska, Elina (Ms) - Law Department Receptionist

Elina is one of two receptionists in the Law Department. As well as providing reception cover, Elina also administers the Visiting Fellows scheme.

Smith, Malcolm (Mr) - Department Manager (Operations and Personnel)

Malcolm manages the administrative team, and works closely with the Head of Department and the Department Manager (Planning and Resources) to achieve the effective management of departmental human, financial and physical resources. Malcolm manages the Departmentís academic and administrative staff recruitment, and deals with part-time teacher contracts.

Whyte, Joy (Ms) - Department Manager (Strategy and Resources)

Joy has overall responsibility for the provision of administration to staff and students in the Law Department, and leads the administrative staff team. She has principal administrative responsibility for the Departmentís responses to School and other reviews, such as the Research Excellence Framework and Teaching and Learning Assessment Committee review.
