LSE Lawyers Alumni Group
The LSE Lawyers’ Alumni Group comprises alumni, friends, staff and students of the School who study, practise or have an interest in law. The group provides a forum for discussion at a variety of events throughout the year, offers opportunities for professional networking and encourages active alumni support for the School.

The
Annual Dinner gives members a chance to get
together in a more formal setting, and to meet
current students and Law Department staff, including
prize-winners. Judge Dame Rosalyn Higgins will be
guest speaker at this year's dinner on 5 March 2012.
Speakers in recent years have included: the Lord Chancellor; the
Attorney General; the Lord Chief Justice; and the
President of the International Court of Justice.
Recent events have included the
LLB Class of 1977 Reunion
and the
LSE ABA Law Reception and a range of lectures,
including Professor Nicola Lacey on
The Legacy of HLA Hart, Professor Martin Loughlin
and Rabinder Singh QC on
Terrorism and Civil Liberties [summary], and Cherie Booth QC
on
Human Rights and Medical Ethics.
The Group and the Department have worked hard to forge close links. Members of the Group often give lectures and seminars in the Department and the Department often providers speakers for the Group.
