Calls for papers for Ciborra special issues

The editors of the Journal of Information Technology (JIT) and the European Journal of Information Systems (EJIS) are pleased to announce calls for two special issues celebrating Claudio Ciborra's life and work.

The JIT special issue 'Claudio Ciborra and the information systems field: legacy and development' invites major papers that progress the essential spirit of his work - challenging, thoughtful, well researched, embracing ideas, critical, and seeking to move the information systems field on into new territory and new understandings. The EJIS special issue 'Personal reflections on Claudio Ciborra's life and work' invited shorter reflections that discuss Claudio's influence on the intellectual development of his friends, mentors, peers and protégés. These could be contributions from those who were directly influenced in their work by meeting Claudio and hearing him speak, but equally by those who only read his words.
