Innovation, Social Risk and Political Responsibility

As an industrialist, researcher and politician dedicated to the understanding of responsibility and innovation, Piero Bassetti will focus on risk and uncertainty associated with political, business and cultural change. In particular, he will analyse the decisions taken by the Allianz Insurance Company after the events of 11 September 2001 in New York, making specific reference to the future of tall buildings. He will also speculate on the impact of the introduction of genetically modified foods on policy-making and governance in northern Italy.
