Student Representatives

The Information Systems and Innovation Group, has a Staff Student Liaison Committee (SSLC), which meets at least once a term. Representatives from each MSc course and the PhD programme are elected at the start of the MT. Representatives can raise issues of concern and make suggestions formally at these meetings. The SSLC is also used by the Library and other School services to inform students of forthcoming activities.

In addition the School hosts a number of committees where a representative from each course is entitled to attend. The committees are

  • Research Students Forum
  • Taught Students Graduate Forum
  • Library User Group

Furthermore, the IS Society consists of a group of nominated students, and it is their responsibility to organise the social events for that academic year!
