The Information Systems & Innovation Group (ISIG) is an academic unit under the  Department of Management. 

The Department as a whole provides a forum for interdisciplinary research on global management issues.  In ISIG, we offer a unique environment for research on the social study of ICTs providing both high quality research training and a stimulating forum for the exchange of ideas.  The MPhil/PhD programme has been an integral part of the Information Systems & Innovation Group over the past three decades.  Many of our former PhD students have found themselves holding positions in leading public and private sector institutions in the UK, North America, Europe and in their home countries. 

The Group currently has approximately 43 doctoral students researching different aspects of ICT deployment and its consequences for contemporary organisations.  We estimate an annual intake of approximately 7-8 new students per year.
